Verdi Module Details

GPS – The GPS module provides position and timing information.

  • Position good to 3 meters
  • Time stamp acquisition data
  • Update real-time clock with GPS timestamp
  • External antenna

Analog Input – The analog input module provides up to 4/8 channels of simultaneous sampling at 100 kS/s.

  • 24 bit A/D conversion
  • Up to ±10 V input, differential, ±5 V input, differential, Other Inputs are achievable as well with Customized Front end
  • Customizable front end for different input types and termination styles

Analog Input – The analog input module provides up to 1-4 channels of simultaneous sampling at 4MS/s.

  • 16 bit A/D conversion
  • Up to ±10 V input, differential, ±5 V input, differential, Other Inputs are achievable as well with Customized Front end
  • Customizable front end for different input types and termination styles

Analog Output – The analog output module provides up to 8 analog output channels with an update rate up to 50 kHz, configurable with simultaneous or staggered updates. The channels are configurable either as all voltage outputs, or 4 voltage outputs and 4 current outputs.

  • Current output levels: 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, or 0-24 mA.
  • Voltage Output levels: 0-5 V, 0-10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V

Thermocouple / mV Input – The thermocouple module supports up to 16 channels of differential-input thermocouples, with a conversion rate of up to 100 s/s. This module can also be utilized for other mV-level (0-500 mV) differential signals.

Digital Input/Output – The digital Input/Output module provides up to 32 channels of IO, and is configurable in banks of 8 as Input or Output.

  • Customizable front end for different Input/output types such as High Current Outputs, High Voltage inputs and termination styles

High Speed Digital – The high-speed digital module provides up to 8 channels of digital input/output, configurable bitwise as input or output.

  • Direct 3.3 V / 5 V input / output
  • Max update rate 40 MHz
  • Custom Configurable front end for different Input/output types such as High Current Outputs, High Voltage inputs, and termination styles

Bridge Sensor Interface – The bridge sensor interface module provides up to 8 channels of differential input with up to 30 kS/s conversion rate and solid low noise performance (Excitation + measurement). This module can also be used as a generic 24-bit A/D converter with several voltage input options.

  • Low Noise 10 V excitation / channel
  • 22.5 bits RMS (Effective Number of Bits – ENOB) @ 100Hz update rate

Memory – The memory interface provides non-volatile data storage in the form of an SD card slot.

  • Up to 32 GB of capacity
  • SD / SDHC compatible
  • High-throughput data capture

CAN Interface – The CAN interface provides up to two separate CAN interfaces that are both isolated from each other and system ground.  Both interfaces provide up to 1Mbps capable ports.

  • Min Baud Rate…………….. 10 kbps

Communications – The communications interface is multi-faceted and includes Ethernet, USB, and custom I/O.

  • Custom I/O – (x5) lvds pairs and (x6) High Speed digital lines
