Viewpoint Updates

Exciting things are happening at Viewpoint. Some highlights are:

• We’ve hired additional staff in the past 3 months.
• Dave Loucks is promoted to Director of Engineering Services.
• We see strong growth in cRIO applications

 

Viewpoint’s Latest New Hires
Sunny Teumim joined Viewpoint Data Management as the sales and marketing coordinator in January of 2008.  Sunny previous experience with Horizon National Contract Services is assisting her greatly in her new role.  Outside of work Sunny enjoys reading and hiking with her dog.

 

Gayland Fisher joined Viewpoint Data Management as a business development manager in January 2008.  Gayland brings his 34 years of power supply engineering, sales management, and product management from Microtek Engineering to his new position.  Gayland loves spending time with 13 month old granddaughter, where he has perfected his toy assembly skills.  When time and weather allow Gayland also enjoys fishing for Walleye in Lake Erie.

 

Dave Loucks Promotion
Dave Loucks was promoted to Director of Engineering Services recently. Dave came to Viewpoint with many years of project and operations management experience. He will combine this experience with his inside knowledge of Viewpoint operations to cultivate best practices and project efficiency.

 

cRIO Applications
Viewpoint continues to see growth in cRIO applications. The small form-factor and dedicated controller and FPGA make this platform worth considering for embedded applications.  Most of our applications use the cRIO as a smart Datalogger capable of reacting to changes in input data by saving event data and outputting control signals for removing error signals. One application used the cRIO as a typical embedded controller for a prototype product.
